Once your quote is signed, we confirm the moving date together. Then, it’s time for customs formalities. It’s not the most exciting part, but we’re here to help you fill out the documents in no time!
The big day has arrived, and good news: you won’t have much to do! Just tell the team leader what you’re moving.
If you wish to pack some personal items yourself, let us know, and our team will provide the appropriate materials.
Our movers arrive with everything needed: boxes, protective wrap, blankets… Furniture is disassembled as planned, and every item is packed with care. With over 40 types of packing materials, we ensure optimal protection for your belongings during their sea journey.
Then, numbering: each package gets a number and your name, with a description recorded on the packing list. If a custom crate is needed, it will be built at our storage facility.
Once packing is complete, it’s loading time! Each package is carefully checked off before being loaded into our truck.
Your belongings are then transported to our secure storage facility, where they will be stored in individual crates awaiting the shared container loading. Of course, this storage is included in our rate.
It’s also at this stage that we issue the final invoice.
On loading day, your goods are carefully arranged in the container, like a vertical layered cake. Each move is separated from others with specially designed cardboard dividers to prevent mixing.
Export customs clearance is also handled at this stage, ensuring smooth transit to your new destination.
Your container is on its way! Your dedicated expert has sent you a secure link to track its journey in real-time – like package tracking, but XXL version! You can see its route, know the exact departure date, potential stops, and estimated arrival time.
You’ll know where your belongings are at all times, and can even impress your friends by proudly announcing: “My sofa is currently making a stopover in Singapore, for example.” And if any delays occur, no panic! Your dedicated expert is there to keep you informed.
That’s it, the ship has anchored: your container has arrived at its destination! Throughout the journey, our local partner monitored the transport and anticipated customs clearance.
Once the container is unloaded and safely stored in their warehouse, our partner will contact you with a precise delivery date estimate. Just a little more patience… Your belongings are about to find their place in your new home!
The big day is finally here: your belongings leave the warehouse for your new home.
On-site, our team takes over: setting up furniture, reassembling dismantled items, opening and unpacking fragile item boxes… Everything is designed so you can quickly feel settled.
All that’s left is to hang a few pictures, take a deep breath, and fully enjoy your new life!
